We are just a bunch of hippies, here at Bike Boom! Hippies who LOVE bicycles.
We love bicycles because they offer many positive things to health, well being and the environment.
Being a very small company means we can be far greener than any B corp business. If we can't repair or re-use something it gets recycled. We keep Pirate Pete our local scrap man very happy. with all the discarded chains etc Inner tubes get collected by Schwalbe to be recycled and used in their green range of tyres. Used tyres get sent to Africa where they will get further use as well as a bunch of bicycles and accessories that might otherwise be discarded.
We try re-using packaging as much as we can so please don't expect a brand new box every order!
DONATIONS
We gladly accept any donations of bicycles and bicycle parts and accessories. This helps us manage to offer fully serviced bicycles at affordable prices and reduces landfill.
